Hello my name is Aaron, I'm a wedding filmmaker and photographer based in Tacoma, Washington. I serve couples throughout the Pacific Northwest and wherever your story takes me.
The first time I shot 50 feet of film, I was hooked. There was something about the soft tones, rich character, and beautiful imperfections that felt so much more honest than simply capturing a moment.
Since then, I’ve chosen to work primarily with film—both Super 8 and still photography. I love the way film slows you down and asks you to really notice what’s happening: the in-between moments, the quick glances, the way your hands find each other, the laughter that catches you off guard.
To me, the best memories aren’t perfectly composed. They’re warm, a little imperfect, and full of feeling. That’s what I want to preserve for you.
I see film as the way memories work. We recall our meaning full moments with emotion and depth. These qualities come naturally with super 8 and film photography.
My Approach
Less is more—especially when it comes to a wedding film.
Your wedding is meant to be lived, not directed. Most of the day, it's simply me and my film camera, quietly following along as moments unfold. By staying present but unobtrusive, I capture your day as it truly felt—honest, intimate, and beautifully your own.
